Spiritual Farming
Nutrition, Health & Wellbeing, Rural Transformation, Livelihood Training, Education
Inspired by Maharishikaa Preeti, and in alignment with the Foundation’s objective to protect, preserve, and regenerate the natural world, Spiritual Farming is a sacred way of relating to plants, animals, soil, and water as sacred life-forms to be honoured and nurtured through natural, and non-exploitative practices.
Spiritual Farming goes a step beyond organic farming. It is the recognition of the Earth as Maatru Bhoomi—Mother Earth. Planting, growing, and harvesting are not simply tasks; they are sacred acts. The farmer becomes a karma yogi, tending the land with reverence and presence.
Spiritual Farming brings healthy, nourishing food for the people of Bhaarat—free from toxins, grown in harmony with the land. As farmers adopt this sacred approach, the nation grows not only in economic wealth but in inner prosperity. This path leads to dignity for the farmer, wellness for the community, and reverence for the Earth, and all beings.
“Feeding a person nourishing food is the most beautiful way to love them“
Maharishikaa Preeti
Farmers should be among the most respected people on the planet—for they provide the basics needed for human survival. Through Spiritual Farming, the self-worth of the farmer is restored and deepened. Farming is a sacred offering, with the farmer seen not as a labourer, but as a modern-day Vedic priest, cultivating food which nourishes the body – the temple of the Soul.
