The PRESENCE Foundation India’s Immunity Boost Against Covid-19 (IBAC) program was developed through the inspirations of Aaryaa Maharishikaa Preeti Maiyaa, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, to help curb the global crisis at a local level.
The program was launched on March 28, 2020 and evolved along the ideal of love and the principles of prevention. With the support of generous donors and the hard ground zero work of volunteers, the IBAC program has responded to the unprecedented challenges faced by at-risk sections of the Mumbai community.
Program outcomes so far:
600kg of PreetiBhojanam LoveFood – protein-rich green moong dal along with other essentials was distributed to migrant laborers stuck in Mumbai, and to families who are unable to afford basic protein-rich food.

Due to a severe lack of knowledge regarding the transmission and treatment of the novel coronavirus, immunity and hygiene were identified as key in combating the virus at a community level. 500 adults and children living in a very high-density housing colony received a one month’s supply of pure ascorbic acid (vitamin c) – a powerful immunity booster and element of the Covid-19 protocol of the orthomolecular society. Not one case of the virus was seen among the over thousand residents compared to other neighboring buildings.

With the Mumbai Police force having to interact with hundreds of people every day, working on the frontline to combat Covid-19 during the lockdown, since March 2020, a total of 10,000 face masks and 800 units of 250ml hand sanitizer bottles has been distributed to police personnel at different police stations and checkpoints across Mumbai, as well as to bus drivers transporting migrant laborers to the Maharashtra border as restrictions on the movement of migrants eased in May 2020.

In response to the mass movement of migrant laborers who left Mumbai on foot INR 200 cash was given to them on the highway.

Every single person who received facemasks, hand sanitizer, vitamin C, PreetiBhojanam or cash also received a PreetiMirror sticker known to bring prosperity and protection. With its six concentric circles each representing a layer of human consciousness, and a mirror for self-reflection in the center, the PreetiMirror is a potent symbol of Love describing the Soul, the Divine, within each human being.

With the Maharishikaa’s love and powerful blessings, the IBAC program is providing more than handouts and a band-aid solution. It is a social thrust with a spiritual force, which evokes within individuals the inner strength needed to win the battle against Covid-19.
